Hi, I’m Jill Firouzi, Boutique Realty’s broker and founder. And I’ve always had a love for all things real estate, design, and construction.
It started just after I married my husband at the Hotel Del Coronado more than 20 years ago. We started taking advantage of fluctuations and trends in the real estate market, upgrading our residence and beginning to look for investment properties. We discovered we had a knack comprised of astute research and a determination to go the extra mile.
Since those early days, we’ve been fortunate to personally buy and sell a vast array of amazing homes in fantastic neighborhoods in San Diego as well as the San Francisco Bay Area.
We soon found that there were a surprising number of properties available to develop in San Diego. So, we blazed that trail as well. We learned to navigate the crazy path of city permits, managing contractors, and marketing the properties - all as a side business!
You can probably predict the next part of the story. Friends and family started to notice what we were doing and asked if we could help. Of course! That’s what you do for friends and family, right? I’d study listings with my friends, talk pros and cons, schedule viewings with realtors to see the property, drive out to see them, help them make decisions, then hand it off to a realtor to close the deal. Those were the easiest sales those realtors ever made!
It soon became clear that getting my realtor license was really the best way to help my friends and family find their dream property, whether it was a personal residence, an investment property, or land to develop.
Once my realtor license was in hand everything changed! The process for my friends and family became much more streamlined and nimble, much less overwhelming - have you seen San Diego’s MLS?! Our negotiating position also became that much stronger.
My dream was always to have my own company and opening a brokerage would provide the next level of service for my growing group of friends and family.
Now, as a broker, that’s how I view my clients: as friends and family. And, boy is my friends and family list growing!
